Social Studies Time......
We started our unit on our Government:
2.02 Recognize and demonstrate examples of the elective process.
In order to catch the student's attention we had a real voting booth along with election for Student Council members from Mrs. Breen's homeroom as well as my homeroom. What a fun day. Several students were chosen to run. They made posters and had to give a speech. Then students proceeded to vote in a voting booth. In our homeroom Amanda and Milagros were our class winners!! Congrats ladies!!

Sci Works
Our class went to Sci Works on Wednesday!! It was a blast!! We were able to wrap up and review our weather unit. After watching the lady make a cloud in a bottle and learn about air pressure we were able to rotate stations. We played in snow, made snowflakes, and pinwheels. It was cold but we did get to go outside and see the aniamls. We have been reading a story about Ducks this past week and we were able to see Ducks and see their webfeet it was really neat!!
